If you’ve been viewing this site, you are one of an estimated 250 or so people, according to our server logs. Why so few visitors? You may or may not have noticed that this is a “dev” site, and is not at the top level of the domain TheDailySwipe.com. And since we are intentionally discouraging search engines like Google from indexing the site, and the only way the site has been shared is via a few Facebook posts, there’s pretty much no other way you would know the site exists, unless you are a friend or a friend of a friend.
Well, this is going to change next year (probably summer), after we add a few unusual features to the site, including an online store, and the ability for users to post and comment based on registration. And after we get a half-dozen other projects rolled out.
In the meantime, we apologize for the epic lull in posting, but we promise to provide an amusing manifesto at some point, which will give you an idea of what the site will be like when it is migrated to the top level.
In the interim, we’d love to hear your thoughts.
Commenting won’t be free when the site goes live, so take advantage of your last chance to spout off at no charge 😉
