Content Theft Explained – With Cows

E Cow Nomics Poster

This poster on Amazon is probably the original source.

As a content creator, I have many times created clever new content that went moderately viral (yup, I was the first to make a full set of “alternative FB buttons”), and marveled at the path that original content follows as internet marketers and social media spammers steal it, re-label it, and use it to drive traffic. So for this week’s Monday Metavator, we’ll be “borrowing” a meme that radio station Newstalk ZB borrowed with considerable success recently. They probably “borrowed” it from this 2014 graphic, which may have been borrowed from this source or this source, which likely borrowed it from this original poster on Amazon back in 2011.
