I personally first pondered the question of whether or not a Formula One car’s spoilers generate enough force to stick the car to a ceiling back in 2009, but apparently it’s been kicking around longer than that. This video, for instance, was allegedly made back in 2001. The problem? IT’S JUST COMPUTER GRAPHICS, and it proves NOTHING:
