I’ve written elsewhere about being a bit of a short film addict, and Fernando Livschitz seems to consistently nail the format, whether creating commercials or random creative pieces. You can see more of his work at Black Sheep Films. The title “NEW YORK – Time Lapse – Tilt Shift – Scales” doesn’t do justice to this amazing piece of tilt-shift/time-lapse work. The tune Sweet Disposition by Temper Trap will lift you up and make you want to fly away to a tiny, toy-like New York City.
The automobile and pedestrian choreography of “Rush Hour” may make you get a bit twitchy at points, and it’s hard to tell if the use of the classic song Mr. Sandman adds to the tension or eases it.
